Hi, I'm getting my 002rack anytime now, and I bought my G5 about 2 weeks ago; I'm still waiting for phase 2 support from digi. Since you guys get the support phase 1 earlier, anyone has any problems with the newly compatible Pt with G5? Any input on this would be awesome, I'm a new mac user, and the last time I used PT extensively was about 3 years ago. Thanks!

For now without much research on the problems I can say that I have some minor problems. Setup HD 3 PT 6.2 G5 Dual 2Ghz - I can't use Dverb, it is always making noise and slows the system. - Sometimes When Protools is loading it quits without any error message. Then I try again and it will go a little bit further and quits again. this can happen for about 10 times till it loads all correctly. But after it loads it didn't quit yet.
I have the same problem.. PT quits when starting, trying again solves the problem. It only happens to me when a new plugin is installed or a plugin runs out of demo time. Thanks so much for the reply guys. Other than the minor problems, any serious OS incompatibility issues, like DAE errors, or protools not compatible with Expose for example or any of the new features of panther?

I'm having the same problems as Eduardo and Maximusic, although launching ProTools seems to be more reliable now, for some reason. I did post one large project using a Quicktime DV movie captured through a Canopus ADVC-100 DV Transcoder with Final Cut Express. I have an HD3 Accel system and use the SATA drives for audio. Things worked great, but several inserted plugins didn't work, and some that did didn't show up in the system usage window. Basically, it's ok to mix with, but i won't track to it. My core card fails Digitest also.
