Pick up the 850 AWD tomorrow

Hello all, the lady selling me this car eventually got round to changing the private plates so I am picking it up tomorrow - looks like a nice one with a recent 1500 quid 60k service and only 54k on the clock It's an 850 AWD - not sure if it is a GLT or a SE - anyone any ideas how to check?

The AWD has a very good spec level, cant wait to see some pics

If your 940 sport had the 2.3 engine there is no surprise the 850 feels a little down taking into account the extra friction of the FWD setup.Nothing can feel as bad to drive as a Mondeo!!! Mike

yeah - AWD obviously has a great deal of friction. The 940 Sport has the 2.3 HPT engine and is a beast which can give a 960 a run for it's money (provided of course, you can keep it on the road!) The mondeo I had was a Ghia X V6 and despite being a mondeo handled very very well indeed and was very quick. BUt the fuel consumption was nasty even when compared to the volvos in my fleet.
