440/60/80 1.7ltr turbo

I posted earlier about a t4 conversion but before i totally commit to it, i would like to ask you all this. What is the standard turbo engine capable of on standard internals before forged would be needed, and what is it capable of there after? Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I want to see you do the T4 conversion myself so Im biased. If you do it will you post pics for us all to see?

At the moment i own an s70 2.5ltr lpt this car alone made me fall in love with volvo's so i started doing research on the models and potential projects that i would want and enjoy doing. I love doing cars that other people would never dream about and gain real pleasure from pasting boy racers. I am toying with 2 potential Projects this one or a 700 turbo series unsure whether it will be a saloon or estate. I just want something thats fun and would cripple me with laughter if it was fast enough to paste a subaru or evo. So i'm looking at as many variables as possible. So i'm after as much info as possible. Thanks.

its easier to do the 7 series 16v - its been documented quite well - and theres 3 or 4 of us in the uk doing it at the moment . you could easily do the 8v with a cheque book aswell .
